Christmas Craft Sale Slated
The Fellowship Board will sponsor a Christmas craft sale on November 30th. If you would like to make some crafts and donate them for the sale please let us know. We will have a sign up sheet on the bulletin board. The income from this sale will go to the capital campaign fund.

The Fellowship Committee Is Looking for You! Do you like to bake? Then we need your help! The Fellowship Committee is looking for volunteers to donate cookies for after service coffee. If you would like to help, please contact Linda. We are short on early service volunteers. Hosting is easy, fun, and a good way to share your spiritual gifts at Advent! Call Linda for more information on how you can help.

Stampers and Scrapbookers Any women interested in getting  together one evening a month at the church to share ideas, supplies and fellowship? If so, or if you want to learn about these projects, please call the church office

Owls (Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors) The OWLS have been on five outings and you may have missed them. They have gone to the theater, an art gallery and orchid show, and to St. John’s Cathedral for St. George Day concert. Look at the bulletin board outside the church door for the next scheduled outing—don’t be left behind. This is a fun club and a wonderful fellowship time for all Advent seniors and some who aren’t so senior

FELLOWSHIP BOARD The Fellowship Board facilitates events for the Advent community in a spirit of love and joy.  Congregational picnics with games and dunking booths, game nights, the Supper Club, the OWLS group, potluck meals, Lenten meals, and Christmas activities are all events which would not be possible without the planning and hard work of the members of the Fellowship Board.  In addition, the Fellowship Board ensures that our kitchen is maintained and well stocked for all occasions.

When we gather for fellowship, we live the way God created us to live:  in relationship with Him and with one another.  When we let our fellowship together fall by the wayside, our sense of community suffers.  We are looking for people to serve on the Fellowship Board and help carry out events.  All that is required is enthusiasm and a little common sense.  Is God calling you to serve on the Fellowship Board?
