A Healthy Health Fair is coming Mother’s Day weekend! Mark your calendars to come and enjoy many exhibits from local businesses to ensure your health in 2012!
Labor Ready

Labor Ready - For we are God’s Workmanship, created in Jesus Christ to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 NIV Social Ministry wants you to be a part of God’s good works by helping us prepare and serve meals at Labor Ready the first Friday of every month. A signup sheet is on the table in the Fellowship Hall along with the guidelines. Please contact Katherine Morrison @ (904) 608-6909 for further information on how to feed God’s People. We need helpers for March, April and May. Get a group together and make a simple meal to serve and let the fun begin! If you are not sure about what to do, ask others that have already served to see how easy and how much fun it is to serve! A Special Thank you to Joanne Dotson for all that she does to assist with the Waste Not Want Not Breads and other items for Labor Ready! She plays a most valuable role in feeding God’s sheep!
Christmas In July at Advent!

Christmas is coming to Advent in July. Please be thinking ahead as we will host a Community Christmas Service along with a meal and backpack give away complete with Santa. Social Ministry is in need of 50 Regular backpacks so that we can fill them with needed school supplies and fun items to be handed out at the Christmas in July Celebration. More information is forth coming.
Easter Baskets

We did such a great job with the Shoe Box Ministry; it is time for Easter Baskets! We will start collecting fillers for Easter Baskets for the Clay County Clothes Closet. Some items include Easter grass, small toys, hygiene items, small books, cards, cars, dolls, candy etc. More information is on the round table in the Fellowship Hall with the bright pink table cloth on it. You can fill a basket or bring in the items to fill a basket and we will stuff for you! A sample basket is on the table.

Red Cart Needs for the Clay County Clothes Closet: Canned Meats including tuna, Cereal, Diapers (all sizes especially the larger sizes) jelly, powder milk packets, Pasta helper/rice helpers.
