Youtheran Yahoos (Elementary)
We will meet in the Assembly Room from 6-8pm on Saturday!
Please contribute $1-2 for dinner.
Anyone willing to donate a child’s game to the youth group please turn them in to Marie Roberts.
Saturday Night Live (5th-8th grades)
The Luthers are hosting Saturday Night Live this week! We will meet at Advent from 6-8pm for pizza and games!
Epic Life (9th-12th grades)
Epic is going to see Thousand Foot Krutch this Saturday.
Tickets are $20.
Meet at Advent at 6pm, and we are in need of rides!
Puppeteers/Dramateers
There is a puppet show on Sunday! Watch for updates from Jason!
***Children’s Choir and Bells and Boomwhackers rehearsals are in full swing! Check them out on Sundays after the 10:30 service!

It's TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) time!!!!!
If you are one of the 15 participating in TEC this weekend, please make sure that you have contacted Brenda LaBranche to arrange your ride to Camp Weed in Live Oak.
Wheat team-Your ride out will be Dana Luther on Friday.
TECites-your ride out will be Brenda LaBranche on Saturday. Meet at Advent between 6-6:30am Saturday morning. My car is already filling up so I need to know who else needs a ride ASAP.
Last week I sent out a list of the things that you need to pack for TEC, please make sure that you check it, and please remember to bring your bedding.
We will plan to be back to Advent on Monday, sometime around 6:30-7:30pm, and will be in contact with parents once we are en route.
Saturday Night Youth Groups
Elementary Youth (with Ms. Marie and Ms. Lisa), Saturday Night Live (with Mr. Dirk), and EPIC (with Mr. Chuck) will be meeting for youth group Saturday night from 6-8pm!
Youth Band Practice and Acts II
Youth band will be meeting for practice on Sunday from 3:30-5pm. Acts II begins at 5pm. Please bring a friend and a dish to share!
Luther Springs and Lutherock Information-It's Time to Register!
Youth Camp Registration
This year we are asking all camp registrations be made on line. Please pick up directions for Lutherock & Luther Springs on-line registration, and a camp information booklet at the youth table in the Fellowship Hall. Sign-up directions are for Lutherock confirmation camp & O.A.P, and Luther Springs resident camps.
Please note: Advent will not be hosting LOMF day camp this year, but hopes many will take advantage of Luther Spring's week long resident camps. Also, the closer to the date of camp you register the more expensive the registration cost. Please sign up as early as you can! If you have any questions please contact Pastor Mark

The youth groups will have a family potluck and game night this Saturday from 6-8pm. Please bring a dish to share and a game to share!
PB&J (the junior high youth group) has changed their name to Saturday night Live!

Fun in the Son Teens Encounter Christ is almost here! It will be February 18-20th. If you are going to TEC, please look for more information coming out this week with everything you will need to know. If you are interested in more information about TEC, please visit www.fitstec.org
Cross+Roads Lutheran Church is having a Valentine Dinner on Friday night from 7-10pm. A suggested donation of $25 per couple or $15 per single is asked. All proceeds benefit the TEC retreat.
-TEC Youth-Tim Davis is in need of more youth volunteers to help during the Valentine dinner. Please contact Tim Davis for further information.

The 6th-12th grades are going to church at St. Johns Lutheran Church on Sunday, the 29th! We will leave Advent at 9am and return around 1pm. Please make sure that you have your permission slip signed and you are ready to go!
Don’t forget to stop by the bake sale table on Sunday after the 10:30 service to support TEC!
The Senior High youth group now has a new name…Epic Youth!!! We meet every Saturday from 6-8pm in the Advent Youth Room. Everyone is invited! Questions? Ask the Epic Team-Jason Merritt and Chuck Rogers.This week..Cosmic Ice Skating! Meet at 6pm in the Youth Room! Bring at least $10!
Children’s Choir and Bells have resumed rehearsals after service on Sundays. See you there!
PB&J (Junior High youth) are going to the movies this Saturday night with the LaBranches! We have voted to see “Red Tails” and we will go to the 4:25 show! Cost will be $5.50 each (plus any money wanted for snacks). We will meet at Carmike at 4pm. Then, we will go back to Advent after the movie for fun and games until youth group ends at 8pm! See you there!

EPIC (Senior High Youth)
The EPIC Life senior high youth group will meet in the youth room to devour pizza and snacks, gossip about teen life and find God in "The Lady in the Water" - a sort of horror movie. It will be EPIC. (Saturday 6-8pm)
Youth Band Resumes This Sunday!
Due to scheduling, youth band will meet the first Sunday's of the month from 2:00-4:00pm and 3:30-5:00pm on the third Sunday's of the month.
