PB&J
(The News Spread For Youth)
Attention all youth and parents! PB&J is underway! Yes it does include peanut
butter and jelly but if you don’t like jelly you can bring your own health food.
Among the recent delicious combinations brought up were – bananas, potato chips
and pickles. So bring your own palatable additive or be traditional. Remember
every Sunday at 6:30 pm in the Youth Room. (Follow the bread crumbs) We also
have the following plans working for other events:
October 3rd – Youthquake Live at
Celebration Church on Deerwood. We will be carpooling and will leave at about
6:30. Parents invited. (You actually get to sit in another room away from the
noise and have some coffee while you watch the youth on large screen tv’s.
October 11th – Heritage Day – We need
your help with the games. Jason is directing this part as well as the
puppeteers. Setting up the air filled trampoline, as well as taking tickets are
just a few of the things we need help with.
October 23rd – Christian Music night at
Skate Station. Skating starts at 7 pm. We will meet at 6:30 outside the rink.
All youth of all ages are invited. However, youth that are 5th grade or under
will need to be accompanied by a parent. With 10 or more the cost should be
between $3 and $3.50.

Theater – Comic Book Heroes and Villains Dance! Costume optional. NO risque or
anime allowed.

Like Children?
Advent’s parents of infants
and toddlers are in need of childcare during Sunday School hour 9 to 10:15.
Please contact the church office or Ron White at 777-5785 if you are interested
in this ministry. Advent offers a Nursery during the 10:30 service and we are in
need of volunteers to take turns to care for infants and toddlers while their
parents attend worship. Please contact the church office or Dawn Marnell at
987-9422 to volunteer.
