The Church Properties Ministry maintains the church properties. They Provide service with a detailed list of the required daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual care and maintenance of the facilities equipment. Be aware of, and responsible for compliance with all applicable FL statutes, ordinances, and regulations with regard to the congregation's property. Maintain inventory of tangible assets and provide input to the Treasurer for appropriate replacement costs values of all property for insurance purposes. Maintain records of inventory for procedures, office equipment, and all documents relating to the property, i.e. appliance warrantees, blueprints, deeds., etc. Ensure all aspects of safety related issues. Inspect buildings for lighting for access and entry/exit to the buildings. Exit signage for functionality; clear hallways for exit in case of emergency, emergency exits and fire doors operation, and inspect for fire hazards and maintenance of firefighting equipment and extinguishers quarterly. Ensure electrical wiring is insulated, grounded, and properly attached when changes are made to existing fixtures. Assist with insurance related inspections as needed to provide input regarding risk management tools and methods.
