SUNDAY SCHOOL
At Advent Lutheran Church, we believe that faith is nurtured throughout every season of life. Through Bible study, fellowship, worship, and service, we grow together in God's Word and in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether you are exploring the Christian faith for the first time or have been walking with Christ for many years, we invite you to join us as we learn and grow together.
Each Sunday morning, Advent offers Bible studies and Christian education for every age.
Children
Our children's classes use the Whirl curriculum to help students discover God's love through engaging Bible stories, activities, and discussion.
-
PreK–3rd Grade — Sundays at 9:15 AM (Art Room)
-
4th–6th Grade — Sundays at 9:15 AM (Room 110)
Youth
Our youth ministries encourage students to explore Scripture, ask questions, and strengthen their faith in a welcoming environment.
-
Teen Bible Study (Grades 7–12) — Sundays at 9:30 AM (Parlor)
-
Confirmation (Grades 7–8) — Sundays at 11:30 AM (Parlor)
Confirmation prepares students for the Affirmation of Baptism while exploring the foundations of the Christian faith, Scripture, prayer, the sacraments, and life in the Church.
Adults
Adults are invited to gather each Sunday at 9:15 AM for Bible study, conversation, and fellowship. We currently offer two classes:
-
Older Kids Group – An engaging Bible study with thoughtful discussion and practical application for everyday Christian living.
-
Harmony Group – A welcoming class focused on growing together in God's Word through Scripture study and conversation.
Whether you've studied the Bible for years or are just beginning, you'll find a friendly group ready to welcome you.
Growing Together in Faith
Faith formation is more than attending a class—it's a lifelong journey of learning, serving, and living out God's love. At Advent Lutheran Church, we are committed to helping children, youth, and adults grow in their knowledge of Scripture and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us each Sunday as we grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of living as God's people.
