Acolyte
Acolytes often are young people from the congregation who assume the responsibility of lighting and extinguishing the candles before and after worship services.

Fellowship
This board provides food for the services that require food.

Property
The Property board are those that help maintain the church property and keep the buildings in good shape. They do multiple jobs depending on the strong points of each person involved.

Worship Comittee
The Worship Committee works with the pastor to enhance the worship services.

Music
Opportunities are available with special music and serving in the 10:30 Awaken Worship Band.

Tutoring
Advent provides free tutoring to students who need assistance with Math, Science, and more.

Assistant Minister
Are lay people who carry out roles during worship, such as the Bible readings and the Prayers of Intercession (here at Advent, they are Prayers of the People.)

Quilters
The Quilters are a group of kind, loving and generous individuals who meet at the church every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other charities. We welcome anyone who is interested in spending time with us and learning new skills.

Audiovisual
There are a couple of different positions within the Audiovisual area. There are those that run the slides for the service then there are those that run the streaming. Both are very important positions as our services are streamed over our FaceBook page live. The slides have the service information.

Tellers
Tellers come to the church office on Monday mornings to help with counting the money that comes in during the week as well as the money collected during worship on Sundays.
