Stewardship

The Stewardship Ministry is responsible for conducting the annual pledge of time, talents, and resources to of all members. In addition, this Ministry is responsible for distributing offering envelopes to all members. The Stewardship Ministry is to maintain an annual Time and talent file of the talents, interests, and skills of the congregation members and provide their information to the appropriate ministry director. Maintain a program for discovering talents in old and new members-both young and old. Provide information for the file to fill vacant positions. Receive and account for memorials, special contributions, and outside appeals for funds. Serve as an ex-officio member of the Endowment Committee and provide a quarterly report to the Congregational Council. Assign a Teller Coordinator to organize and train volunteers to be responsible for the accurate counting, recording, and depositing of all funds in the church bank account. Coordinate with the Pastor and/or Council to educate all members in challenge-growth giving.
