Community Care

The Community Care Ministry coordinates the congregation efforts on behalf of the needs of members and neighbors. It will inform the congregation of national and global issues of concern. The Community Care Ministry will provide information and opportunities for support to the members of this congregation on missions, charities, and other outreach causes at the community, state, national, and international levels. Organize and promote special appeals for food, clothing, and other supplies through local social agencies, programs, projects, and advocacy groups. Administer and coordinate the congregation's account with the local Blood Bank, including providing opportunities for congregation members to donate blood. Maintaining contact with and concern for other local and synodical ELCA congregations, as well as other Christian churches. Promote congregational interest in world missions.
